Matrimonial Resume ???

Sometimes matrimonial profiles can be really irritating, funny or surprising, making the whole process of partner search a bit amusing though... I got a mail from the father of a prospective groom asking me to send my details.. well he wanted the details of where I did my schooling, college and percentage .. etc etc.. What ? was he offering me a job ( btw, I am already employed ) naah, he wanted to select an academically brilliant bride for his highly accomplished IIT bred successful son.. Still, curious enough, I tried opening the link to the profile and had a nice time scanning the details on a lovely lonely saturday morning at office ..

I really appreciate the talents of the person who could make it so high in just 24 years of his life. But, this is not what I am looking for..

well, now that I am not planning to marry him, I can fwd your ad to him.. otherwise, I can't appreciate having a step/adopted son who can twitch his ears, loves climbing trees and who can bench 60 kgs .. ;-))

and moreover your pocket money budget of Rs 10K/day is too much for the chap.. he may go on and on writing exams ...

On second thoughts, thank god they mentioned the 'hygienic dish' bit. That's quite an unreasonable demand, I think. So, maybe, no .. I'll wait around for someone who's ready to scrape his dinner off the floor.

Btw, I'm just curious - would you marry a man less smart than you? (smartness, of course, need not be only measured in the GRE, CAT, TOEFL and GATE scores)

No and thats why I am still unmarried ;-)) either I don't approve the guy's smartness or the smart guy doesnt approve my beauty/character/God knows what... and yeah.. height is an IMPORTANT factor.. No tall smart guys around either .. :((

Lol!!

Another of those funny ads...you won't believe the number such profiles that I and roomie used to get. We used to exchange notes on them and have a good laugh. There was this particular guy who said he wanted his life partner to be a "social butterfly" :D

Perfect candidate

For the job I mean. Actually stumbled onto this looking for a sample format. (we've been writing resumes all our lives...never a biodata..what the heck do you write???). And don't say snowboarding and skydiving...you wouldn't be making a biodata then.

Really funny

I never imagined that one can make such a matrimonial profile for ones son. His psychosexual level needs to be assessed by a qualified sociologist. I doubt any self-respecting girl or her parents should like to consider such a man for matrimonial alliance!
