Happy Birthday robyn963 !!

Without Robin's valuable guidance and encouragement in the initial period of my entry into the LJ world, my LJ would have died a premature death.. robyn963 is my first LJ friend, but unfortunately with all the new roles he has taken up in his life, he has little time for LJ.  Well, though not able to actively involve in my LJ world, I am sure he reads my posts atleast occasionally and has my well being in his thoughts as always..

Robin is a great story writer and has a crowd of people following his stories and poems in his webpage in the company intraweb. When I was with my previous employer, Robin also wrote a true life story about one of my painful deciets in friendship I had been through. The story became so sensational that people started forwarding it through mails. Though I had read the story earlier, it was only when it came through an email from somebody else, I felt the strength of writing and expressing. I felt pity for the gal in the story for being foolish and emotionally weak.. Even today, when I look back at my older entries, I pity myself for being helpless in many incidents, when actually I could have done better.

Robin, I know you havent given up writing, I hope you atleast replicate some of your stories in your LJ so that people like me who don't have access to the intraweb anymore,can relish your tales of human emotions around relationships.

Before I could know there exist a word called Role Model, I already had one.. At 5, I just wanted to become  "Placid Rodriguez" not even knowing how much of effort, dedication and hardwork was put into making one.. That much was the influence this great man had on his sister's daughter.. Though the technologies and domains differ, I always get inspired by his values and principles he has towards his life and profession.

I may not have a resume half as impressive as his, but one day I hope atleast somebody would tell me, you got your uncle's brains !
